Our Fiscal Year & Funding Goals

The South Huron Hospital
Foundation’s fiscal year runs from April 1 to March 31. Each year, the
hospital leadership team submits a list of priority capital items for funding
consideration to the Foundation—and we aim to fund them all.
On average, we provide $800,000+
annually to the hospital, and we have $5+ million in future
commitments on our doorstep over the next five years. For 2025–2026,
we are funding $815,000 in equipment purchases, while also
working to build reserves for those future commitments.

saved means more dollars for patient care.

Fundraising Goal:
To meet hospital needs and work towards those future commitments, our
