Our Spooktacular Radiothon Raises $54,792!

The South Huron Hospital Foundation’s 12th annual Radiothon has once again shown the strength of community spirit, closing its 2025 campaign with an impressive total of $54,792, surpassing the original goal of $50,000.
Broadcast live on 90.5 MyFM from Hansen’s Your Independent Grocer, the event drew steady support from residents, businesses, service clubs, and listeners throughout the region. Hour by hour, donations rolled in, each one adding to the momentum that ultimately carried the Radiothon beyond its target.
This year’s funds will support the purchase of two important pieces of medical equipment for the South Huron Hospital: a nitrous oxide delivery system for the Emergency Department and a wound vac system for the inpatient unit. Both tools will enhance patient care, improve comfort, and support faster healing for individuals who rely on the hospital’s essential services.
The Foundation expressed its appreciation to everyone who contributed, noting that the success of the Radiothon reflects the community’s ongoing commitment to accessible, high-quality healthcare close to home.
