Happy Anniversary to US!  This past week has been time of reflection here at Jessica’s House thinking about his past year since we first opened our doors.  We welcomed families and friends that we have supported this year back to the hospice for our first Memorial Garden Party.  It is hard to find words to say thank you for allowing us to be a part of this moment in your families lives.  We continue to care for your loved ones and to offer a comforting place and peace and solitude during the last days.

Our gardens are a lovely feature in both our front and back yards.  Our families and residents have really enjoyed watching the plants grow this spring if you have a green thumb and are interested in becoming a part of our gardening crew please reach out to us at [email protected]

People inquiring about the heavy equipment that has been on the property just to the south of Jessica’s House. No, we are not expanding, but rather work has begun on a development that will be behind the hospice, crews are working hard to get the services and land prepared.

For anyone who is new diagnosed or living with life threatening illness we want to invite you to attend our “Circle of Friends” support group.  Our vision for this group is to support and connect community members through their journey, providing friendship and mutual support.  The group meets the first Thursday of each month; our next meeting will be July 4th, 2019 from 2-3pm. If you are interested in hearing more about this please don’t hesitate to call Kim Winbow at 519-235-2510.  There is not cost to attend, all are welcome.

Events that are on the Horizon….

If you or anyone in your family is dealing with end-of-life issues please don’t hesitate to call for support at any time.  Community outreach is a key component to the support that is offered before someone is admitted into Jessica’s House.
