Letter from Foundation Chair
The last few years have seen tremendous, costly and visible improvements to the hospital and Medical Centre, but considerably more money was spent to up-grade our technological competence so that we are able to link with other hospitals and to bring our Emergency Department to a point where we meet provincial standards. Each year we will have to spend over $250,000 on items that the Province does not fund such as replacement equipment and physical up-grades to the various departments.

Fortunately, the Foundation is composed of dynamic, dedicated people who are prepared to take on the daunting task of raising funds for our community hospital. With you help, we have been successful, and will continue our success by hosting “fun” fundraising events and increasing public awareness and pride for our Little Hospital That Does. We ask you to support our projects as you are able and consider South Huron Hospital Foundation as one of your charities of choice.

If you have any comments that you would like us to pass on to the hospital administration, or if you have any suggestions for us as a Foundation, please pass them along.
